Siabod Longhouse
In the heart of Snowdonia National Park, located at the foot of Moel Siabod, lies a tiny ancient hamlet called Pont Cyfyng. Within this hamlet, clinging to the bank of the Afon Llugwy is Siabod Longhouse.
Offering self-catering accommodation for 10 people, the longhouse has very good facilities including 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen-diner, central heating, unlimited hot water, a drying area, a spacious & comfortable sleeping / lounge area and car parking. The local pub is a mere few hundred yards away, serving great food and drink.
With fantastic views over the valley, river access at the bottom of the garden, a wide variety of walking and climbing routes on the doorstep, this is a truly wonderful base for your holiday in the stunning and peaceful Snowdonia National Park.
The cost of renting the Longhouse is from £13 per person per night, with a minimum charge of £65:00 per night. We can comfortably accommodate 10 people.
We differ from most bunkhouses as we offer some home-from-home comforts (see our Facilities page) and the Longhouse is only available as a booked-in-advance group let. We differ from a hotel as we don't serve food at the Longhouse. However there are full cooking facilities available and it's only a short stroll to the pub and cafe. The sleeping accommodation is all in one large dorm-style room, an additional room with 2 single beds and en-suite facilities, so your whole group will be together - we only let to one group at a time so you have sole use of the Longhouse and all of the facilities. Bed and breakfast is available in the main house.
