We’ve got 10 in our group and really like the sound of the Longhouse – is there any way we can all stay?
We will do our best to accommodate you but there are onlty 8 beds. If you have your own thermarest or sleeping roll we’re sure you’ll find space in the sleeping room, it will just be a little more cosy.
How far are you from the nearest pub?
Merely a few hundred meters – a 5 minute walk to a friendly pub serving great food and drink. There is also an excellent café 5 minutes in the opposite direction – perfect if you fancy a fry-up and can’t be bothered to cook it yourself.
We have a number of vegetarians in our group – does the area cater for them?
The local pub does serve some vegetarian and gluten-free meals. Further up the road there is a pub that has an excellent reputation for serving some of the best vegetarian meals in the region. There is a small convenience store selling basic goods about 2 miles up the road, and a supermarket about 15 minutes drive from the Longhouse.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry no! We have animals around the gardens that would get very upset so we don’t allow pets. We make an exception for guide dogs.
What’s the minimum let period on the Longhouse?
There is usually no minimum let – it is simply first come, first let. The only minimum let would be the Bank Holiday weekends, when we let the Longhouse for a minimum of the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night to one group.
What if my chosen dates are full?
We do try to offer alternative dates if your chosen dates are already full, or can sometimes offer you accommodation within Capel Curig at another bunkhouse.
